The State of New Mexico talks tough about DWI laws, but a recent decision by the Department of Corrections makes it appear the state is more concerned about saving money than saving lives. DOC is refusing to take into custody a San Juan man who received the maximum three-year sentence in state prison for his sixth - that’s right, sixth - drunken-driving offense. The reason?
