Up to 1,500 repeat drunken driving offenders may be eligible for get-out-of-jail cards thanks to a new Minnesota Supreme Court ruling, a legislative analysis shows. The court Thursday unanimously struck down a 1997 law that made some repeat DWI offenses enhanced gross misdemeanors, carrying jail terms of up to two years.
