DWI legislation addresses Day case

Lawmakers this session addressed an Appeals Court ruling last year that had jeopardized four years worth of legislation toughening state laws against drunken driving. The Court of Appeals ruled in the Day case that breath tests taken more than one hour after an arrest require expert witnesses in court to verify the results.
