Drunken Driving Convictions

The Clipper publishes the results of trials involving charges of drunken driving or refusal to take blood tests that lead to convictions in Chesapeake General District Court, Traffic Division. Ten days are allowed from the date of conviction to file an appeal. The Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP) retrains and serves as a court probation supervisor for motorists convicted of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
