[Wayne J. Miller] testified that [Charles D. Brady]’s vehicle smelled of alcohol and that Brady’s eyes were red and glassy. “He had a great deal of difficulty getting his driver’s license out of his wallet,” Miller said. He said that he asked Brady how much he had had to drink and that Brady said “nothing.” Miller said Brady eventually admitted that he had had two drinks and that the last had been more than an hour earlier. [Rodney G. Leffler] next tried to pin down where Miller had arrested Brady. Miller said he did not turn on his flashing lights until after Brady had pulled onto Route 28 and was more than 300 yards from the Dulles Access Road. Source : pqasb.pqarchiver.com |
